Grayslake Illinois 2007
I was on my way home from a lecture that wasn't when I got stopped by this train. I even made a special trip to the only camera store in a 20 mile radius that had the lens I wanted (a 50mm f1.8), so if they let me take pictures, I'd have a fast enough lens that I wouldn't have to worry about a flash. The speaker had laryngitis. Ah well. So I decided to test just how fast this new lens was. I must say, I like it. :)
One thing that will take getting used to is not touching the lens. At this point, I'm used to zooms, so I'm always twiddling with the zoom ring. With this new lens, I can actually shoot one-handed.
I'm a hundred and four today! I'm a hundred and four today! I'm a hundred and four today!
Obscure BBC trivia. Anyone know what that's from?
